Perfect Golf Swing is Determined by Individual Preference
It has been said that the perfect golf swing is the one that allows a golfer to hit the ball long and straight. Not all golf swings work for everyone and that it is an individual technique. While many people can have great success in hitting the ball quite a distance and relatively straight, their swing looks anything but perfect.
Shying away from golf lessons, many people work out difficulties on a driving range where they adjust their stance and their feet position to alter where the ball goes after it is hit, instead of working on the mechanics to achieve their perfect golf swing. They read about techniques in books, magazines and spend a ton of money of videotapes to learn how to make the perfect golf swing only dig numerous divots on the tee.
Many times what happens, is they have all this information but never allow it to become a natural part of their perfect golf swing approach and when they the address the ball their mind is cluttered with instruction. The speed of the backswing should set the approach for striking the ball and the speed of the downswing may be slightly faster towards the bottom as the weight of the club allows it to pick up speed just before impact.
